Hi everyone! I have a MF axleback on my GT, which I love. In the past week however it has developed an annoying rasp between 3,5-5k rpm and it only manifests itself under load not when stationary. I’ve driven more than 30k km (20k miles) with it on and never had this issue.

What are the usual culprits for this happening? Anyone ever had this happen until now? Thanks.

It could be your flex pipe too.

Actually now that you mention it, when starting cold it seems like it is running rich as there is a pervasive smell of gasoline. But after it warms up it goes away.

Could this be it? I filled up on 95 gas instead of the usual 100 because the gas station I stopped at the last time, was out of it. (euro numbers)

You'll have to go back to 100 and see if it goes away before checking the exhaust.
