Trying my best to not drop the car, which is difficult. Pretty much leaves me with the FRPP Track shock/strut combo and base GT350 springs.

Are you completely against lowering the car? Most aftermarket suspension will contribute to that, especially the set ups with great ride quality, for the most part. You could always get bilstein or koni shocks/struts. Personally, I would go with Steeda shocks/struts, and the Steeda Progressive lowering springs. It does lower your car about an inch, but the ride quality is fantastic and it is such a great setup for this car.

What style of driving do you do the most? Street, Strip, Drag, Handling?

Honestly, I felt like the base GT height was low enough. My main direction was the GT350 base springs and Ford Track shocks/struts.

I’m hesitant from lowering my GTI where the documentation said it would only lower it 1”, but after the springs settled it was a whopping 2.5” drop that I got hung up on everything. The car was perfect stance wise, but rode terribly. And that was with a set of Bilstein B8’s and H&R sports.

I had thought about bagging it just so I could get factory ride height while driving, while being able to hard park wherever.

The car is a daily. I don’t track or autoX it so it doesn’t need to be crazy refined.

At this point I’m heavily leaning into the FP street pack as it’s a single kit.

You could very well do that and I think it will be a great set up personally. If you want an idea of what the Steeda Proactive Shocks/Struts with Steeda progressive springs will look like, in terms of drop, check this out! This is my coworkers 2018 on that Steeda setup, and its built for handling. Just to give you an example, and I wouldnt worry about the springs dropping that much lower after settling like they did on your GTI.

Either way, let me know which set up you want to go with exactly, and I can see what I can do for you.

That is on 20x10 and 20x11 wheels with 305/35/20 and 275/35/20 tires
