Media playing quirk

Here’s an odd quirk with Sync 2 on my 2016 GT: when playing media (eg off usb stick) or radio, sometimes the sound is interrupted for 2 seconds and then restored. It’s infrequent but annoying. It seems like the infotainment is set on a TNA (traffic news alert) that’s seeking a signal every odd moment (though it’s not set, I think). Anyone else experienced similar quirk?

I can't say i'd noticed this, although I don't do a lot of miles and don't always have the volume up. I do listen almost exclusively to music off a stick however.

Only thoughts I have are possibly if your Navigation is on, but the speech volume is turned down (so you can't hear the instructions but it still interrupts the media play back), OR it's the speed camera warning - I think mine says "caution" at every camera.
Just a thought...
