I always thought it would be fun to rent a super hot sports car like a Ferrari or Lamborghini and drive around buying stuff in drive throughs (SP?) ... Sorta like wearing a tux to a hockey game....

I wouldn't cry one tear if they had to close down every single MCD restaurant in the world by tomorrow. The food tastes like crap and is horrible for your body. Less crap food = less weight = faster Mustangs, and Everybody wins!

Fast food is coming to an end IMO, just due to those people that yell how bad it is for you, actually makes me mad. Just because you don't like fast food don't make movies about how it made you obese. People choose to eat it and its your own will power to say no. I personally love mc'ds once in a while, it's cheap and easy.

The original post made me laugh a little bit.

There's nothing really wrong with their sales approach or their menu selection that is causing them to close stores. They don't offer the Mc rib always or they took some shit sandwich off the menu so some fast food junkie will go somewhere else.

The 1980s are over. Everyone knows how terrible that crap is for you and how far away it really is from actual food.

I believe people should be able to eat whatever the hell they want. Just like people should be able to shoot heroin or pop pills if they want too. I have no stake in that outcome

Idk, their bacon clubhouse burger is pretty good,- and I have noticed the simplified menu. Not a bad move. I do agree with the Mcrib. What is it that makes its so rarely offered? Is it a logistical problem or a marketing strategy, kind of like an ace in the hole?
It's not a bad place, every big chain is going to have bad seeds or poor product at times. Walmart, Google, Apple, hell they all mess up on a frequent basis. But the reason they mess up is they INNOVATE. Some innovations work, some don't. McDonald's has bounced back from many failed moves. I doubt that'll change now.
