According to the CJ pony parts install video they are not much louder in the car and a lot louder outside the car. I do not have the exhaust so I cannot speak for certain. I would recommend watching this CJ pony parts install video on YouTube.

It is louder than stock both outside and inside the car as it should be.

It is probably louder than your government allows.

Yes it is loud!!! Maybe you can look at the Ford Racing axle back

I'm not sure what the sound level requirements are in Germany, but you may look at just a resonator delete H-pipe or X-pipe. It will certainly still pass, but adds a bit of volume to the stock sound.

Big favor to ask. Does someone have or could someone take a picture underneath the car looking straight up at the axle backs?
I see the mufflers themselves are angled toward the bumper fascia exhaust holes, different then the stock setup.

I just installed a Curt Hitch and am wondering if the back edge of the Curt bracket could hit these mufflers since they angle in.
If I had a picture looking straight up at the MBRP mufflers I could tell if the Curt frame will hit.

Thanks for the picture but i would need it pointing straight up looking at bottom of rear. I just tried to take a picture like that with phone/camera almost on the ground and it didn't work out too well so don't worry about it...thanks!...unless anyone has their car on a lift installing this...then a good picture could be taken pointed straight up.

I will be putting my tow hitch on today, and I have an MBRP exhaust ready to pick up. I'll know by Friday if this will work or if I will have to return the exhaust and go another route. I'll let you know and post a pic of how much clearance there is if it does work........
