Hello,

After patiently waiting FedEx finally delivered the package at 8:45 last night. The intercooler was wrapped and packaged well, no damage what so ever. I had the car put back together by 10:45.

I did this with out lifting the vehicle off the ground, I used a jack to raise the car about 3 inches (The tires were still touching the floor), and I was able to complete this by myself no extra help was needed.

I decided to remove the front bumper. The hardest part of the install is getting to the those little bolts behind the fender well and taking off the 21 bolts and plastic clips from the splash guard. Once I had everything taken a part, I found it easier to install the drivers side first while pushing up in radiator, I did remove my MMR intake and coolant tank as it prohibited the radiator to move towards the rear of the car. The install of the intercooler was simple, just follow the youtube video [ame].

So far, everything has worked out great. I would recommend this intercooler to anyone, it's a work of art. To bad it has to be covered up by the grill.

I will post more info as it becomes available, I need to do some data logging and get those over to Adam.

Good deal man...I have my map intercooler sitting in my room waiting for other goodies to arrive so I can do it all at once. But since I bought the intercooler from another member it didn't come with that little adapter that goes in the drivers side that hold the intercooler to the car. Could I just use another type of spacer like some washers or just fabricate my own?

The adapter/spacer is on 2.19 of the video. Is the new bolt supplied by map for the sensor longer than the original one or is it a different thread? Thanks for all your help.

You might be able to fab something up, but call adam or map and I am sure they can sale you one. The map adapter has a lip that holds it in place in the factor bracket.

I didn't find that I needed to remove the coolant tank or my intake to install my intercooler. I just lifted the radiator straight up and slipped the IC under
