I tossed the clip, it's just a factory assemby aid which I didn't need to put the new bushing in. Getting it off was the hardest part of the entire install.
Good to know, I will keep that in mind if I have to install one on another S550. That saves an unnecessary step. It's not to bad to remove, just get small flat tip screw driver and gently pry it off and done.

Here is a picture just for reference comparing the the stock vs. the Energy Suspension bushing for reference for anyone else considering this.

This is definitely a great solution, just like the tranny mount insert. So inexpensive and easy for such an improvement, it's a no brainer. I feel like the Steeda and Boomba mounts aren't really worth it with this available. It does the same thing. If you don't want to go this route, shell out a couple more bucks and go all the way with a BFR bracket instead of spending 70 or 80 bucks on just a mount.
So you're saying blowfish bracket supersedes all of this? I have a blowfish bracket, havent installed yet.

It would supersede the shifter mount bushing since you're actually mounting the shifter to the trans. I'd still install the trans. mount insert along with the BFR bracket though.

I used to miss 3rd when shifting aggressively fairly often with the stock set up. Since then I have added the blowfish bracket, steeda clutch spring, steeda trans mount bushing, and changed the fluid to the BG syncroshift II. Night and day difference, no more missing gears and much tighter feel to the shifter. No grind or notchyness what so ever. A slight increase in vibration to the shifter when the blowfish bracket was installed (got used to it in a day or two) and a little tiny vibration in the cabin under decel when the trans mount bushing was added but nothing that a passenger would notice. I am absolutely satisfied with the results!
I am doing the BG swap this weekend, along with Blowfish Install and clutch spring install. I am hoping I can get something similar to what you have experienced. How much NVH is the blowfish? I've heard none, and i've heard its considerably louder, just curious for reference. hoping install is somewhat easy.
