Morning all, brand new owner here!

Just picked up my Magnetic GT....what a beast of a car!

It's going into a body shop tomorrow to get racing stripes done.
I'm thinking dual black stripes with either a silver or white pinstripe like the GT350.
Do any of you guys have black stripes on Magnetic? Have you gone for Matt/satin finish or gloss stripes?

Looking for your expertise here guys!
We had black Matt finish worked fine. Only problem is installing them, you can not use masking film on them. Also never use wax on them. They also give charcoal or silver look in Sun from certain angles due to Matt finish.

Satin is a better option to contrast the gloss color of the car itself, but since you are going with Silver or white pinstrip, that will do the same job. So I would say black gloss with white pinstrip, will be much easy to install and maintain.
And it will also look good.

Thanks Kaps,
Have you got any pics of yours with matte black? would love to see?

I've got a professional wrapping company installing them, so I'm not worried about how complex an install it'll be, i just want it to look as good as possible.
I've got gloss black wheels and the black window surrounds etc, so just not 100% about what finish to go for.

Here are pictures our Black Car with Matt Black stripes, and magnetic with Gloss white stripes.
I don't have pictures of Magnetic with Matt black stripes. However I did see a Magnetic with Matt black stripes and it only looks nice if have some writing on stripes otherwise Gloss black is more durable and looks good as well.
Again it's a personal choice and opinion. The black GT belongs to my cousin and he was dead set on Matt black. But everyone liked the Gloss white on my Magnetic.

Here is a link to my post with some pictures of both cars. Sorry no Matt black or Gloss black on Magnetic but hope it will give you some idea.
Cheers

Cheers guys,

Went for gloss black in the end with silver pinstripe.
Really pleased with it. I'll post some pics up for you guys to see.
Good choice, waiting to see some pics

I drove her into my shop this morning to get my guys going. IAT's were never over 42*...fun ride:D
I know the feeling lol. I'm not tuned yet but I definitely notice a difference in the mornings and evenings when temps are low. It also proves over and over that 235s don't belong on a car with this much power.

Oh boy those are some very cool shots, Canon or Nikon camera?
Ron
Thank you sir.

Canon 6D. Pretty sure those were all shot with the 70-200 F/2.8L.

Still my go-to lens for car photos, it is simply amazing.

I'm glad you stepped out of the box. I think the wheels look great. I'd like to try a similar colour/color, re-spraying the standard premium(?) GT wheels for my Grabber Blue when it gets here, although I don't know if I will be able to take the leap. Colour similar to this though - Please excuse the Honda, I couldn't find a Mustang with gold wheels: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7288/8736173069_2536c74a3c_b.jpg
