This is why I got a clear bra added to the front within 400 miles of ownership. You may want to consider the same. The paint and clear coat on newer cars are super thin.

I dont think it honestly looks bad at all. Even with 100% matched non-metallic paint the repair isn't going to be 100% like a respray due to how the light hits it.

If you have access to IR heat then by all means that is your best bet.

Barring that, a digital heat gun (these are cheap now like $50) or simply a halogen light. You don't want to heat the surface to 300 degrees or anything, but maybe 140-160 for 15 mins and you are good.

Also heat in phases. Apply color layer, heat, clear, heat, enjoy <-- most important step
