I have Apex EC-7 18x10 wheels with 285/40/18 extreme contact DW tires. They rub the struts with no spacer, and I bought some coyote 1" spacers for cheap initially just to make sure I could mount the wheels. It's too much spacer and the tire sticks out past the wheel wells.

I want to buy ARP m14x1.5 extended studs, 1/2" longer than stock and pair them with a 1/2" spacer. My question is whether or not I can use my McGuard wheel locks. I have some open ended lugs in the garage that would work, but I would much prefer to use the locks I spent $120 on. Not sure if just the threaded portion of the ARP studs is 1/2" longer than stock or if that includes the knob on the end of the stud.

I took off my McGuard lugs and they have a ton of extra space beyond the threads. I'm like 90% sure it'll work. If anyone feels like chiming in before I order that would be awesome. If not I'll post up results after.

The amount of spacer he was trying to use is too much, to be honest. That combination only needs a 5mm spacer to clear the strut, which could be done on the stock wheel studs.
