We just purchased a new 2018 GT convertible with the Performance Pack option and Magnaride suspension. I was wondering if there is a lowering spring available yet? Really liking this car after a few weeks however I would really like to put some wider wheels and tires and drop her down about an inch. I used Eibach's on our 2015 GT convertible and was very happy with the look and ride which was close to factory feel.....Thanks.

Thanks for the input and I will probably go this route. The car is actually my wife's daily, although I find myself driving it more on the weekends than my Shelby mostly because of the comfort of the ride. I saw where you have a 35 profile tire so I'm thinking if I stick with a 275/40 and 295/40 I'll look a tad more dropped while remaining the quality of ride that we love....

On a side note I saw your channel the other day and commented on your dyno video. The channel is really very informative and you cut through a lot of BS so I'm going to sub....Keep up the good content and thanks for your response.

Awesome thanks so much. I am typically a straight shooter and really try to focus the channel around unbiased opinions with no BS.

You can also go with Eibach gt350 springs.
I installed the FP springs on my GT350 before the Eibach's were available . I figured I would try them on my 18GT with magneride especially as that needed a bigger drop.

The ride is "softer" than the FP on the GT 350(that started off stiffer anyway). It is much better than stock which was quite floaty and it definitely handles better with the cradle lock out and the GT 350 replica wheels which are 10lbs lighter per tire.

I’ve been looking for a review like this so thanks. What is the offset and width of your wheels btw?

if you mean me, the wheels are SVE GT350 replica's.19x 10,40 mm offset. I reused the stock Ps4 tires so the front 255/40 are stretched a bit but the rear 275/40's fit perfectly .

I have another pair of 19x11 MRR wheels(exact design ) I got cheap with MT ET SS 305/35's mounted for the strip.

I’d say the Eibach is more for looks and FP is more for performance. The FP GT350 springs in my car really changed the car and knuckled it down. It’s awesome but it is not as low as the Eibach

With all due respect but have you driven a car with the Eibach springs ?

I have and I can assure you it changed more than it's "looks".

I have and it rides softer than the ford springs. 200lbs front spring rate is a joke.

The Eibach's I installed on my 2015 which had the MRRGT350 wheels, 275 front and 325 rear rode surprisingly well and weren't much different than the stock springs. The look was awesome and I've almost given some thought to going to the salvage yard to take them even though one is bent to hell(wheels)...I never even had it aligned as it didn't seem to need it with the 1" drop.
Since the Magnaride is electronically controlled does anyone know if the car has to be re calibrated?

Is a good idea to recal the dampers specially with more drop like the eibachs. You need the Ford tool or higher end scanners like the autel elite. I have the autel and I can perform the calibration.

I don't think the one's off your 15 would work as these are supposedly designed to work with the Magneride(GT 350).
I read somewhere that the springs that work with the magneride are wound differently.

I agree that they are softer than the FP springs but they still seem to have improved the handling (with the lighter wheels and Cradle lock out ) compared to stock .
