Searched the forums ad-nauseum and can't seem to find the right info so figured I'd ask....

2015 gt pp1 that I bought the steeda nonadjustable shocks/front camber plates and progressive springs. Haven't installed yet as I'm trying to only crawl around the car once and still need the stop the hop 555-4455 kit to firm up the rear. Hindsight in me thinks maybe I should have bought the minimum drop springs but that boat left the dock already.....

My end goal will be to have a lowered car and the tires a little closer to the lip. Too much inward with the factory pp1 rims. no track time, this is a weekend ride and cars/coffee queen....

That said once I install the springs that show a 1" drop, will I still be able to get a 305 tire/rim combo on the back? I also thought about doing hub spacers on factory rims as I have had them before but it looks like there's a lot more to doing the longer rear studs on this car than my prior whips and I refuse to do bolt on spacers.

Thoughts on the lowering and tire/rim combo? Pics would be helpful if you have them....

New to the forum but hoping as I learn and grow on this ride, I can become a contributer to here as I have on other forums in my past purchases :)

With the progressive springs 1" drop, you should have no problem running a 305/35 on the rear as long as the wheel has the correct offset. What wheels are you planning to run? You can also message me or email me directly at [email protected]. Thank you for choosing Steeda!

Im looking to run 19x 10 et40 275/35r19 front and 19x11 et52 305/30r19 rear on a 2017 Mustang Gt convertible non pp with stock suspension. Can I do this without any fitment issues, rub issues, or spacers?

You should not have a problem with that set up. Especially if the car is not lowered. Convertibles do sit slightly lower in the back which is why we make our rear spring spacers like this;

Steeda 555 8252 Mustang Billet Rear Spring Spacer 1/8" (15-26)

This 1/8" spacer will lift the rear of the car a 1/4".

I am looking to run the factory gt350 rims. not sure on the offsets but 19x10 and 19x11 and looking at 285 front and 305 rear. I think that will get rid of the inner gap at the fenderwell. I know the fronts can "poke" just a hare but from what I have been reading, it's minimal if I stick with the 285's and not push the 295's that some run.

trying to make sure I don't have any rub with the dropped car and wider rims. I know the rims off the 350 sit right at the fenderwells and last thing I want to do are beadroll or have tires that are chewed up from the vegas potholes....

You should be good. If needed, you can run a rear spring spacer to lift the rear. It is a 2 to 1 ratio so an 1/8" spacer will lift 1/4".
