Hey, so I'm looking for a trim to replace/cover the cheap plastic(s) in my 2019 Premium GT (401a w/PP1). I know that there's a lot of carbon fiber things that stick/glue on top of the plastic around the infotainment screen... buuuuut, and I'm not here to argue tastes so please don't bother, I'm of the opinion that too much carbon fiber (mostly if its in random places) can look a bit tacky (if I had the "carbon fiber" pack option on my car then getting it around the infotainment would probably look fine, but I like the PP1's aluminum and don't wish to replace it). It's great if you like it, but it's not for me. That's when I came across this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Chrome-Interior-Center-Console-GPS-Panel-Trim-For-Ford-Mustang-2015-2016-2018/223066386018?fits=Year:2018|Model:Mustang|Submodel:GT&hash=item33efcaee62:g:-asAAOSwH9tbT1cP
Now, the chrome is... chrome (ew), BUT, it kinda matches the dash trim of the non-PP Mustang with the (plain) aluminum. So, I'm wondering if there are any trim kits that match the patterned aluminum of the PP1/PP2 cars? That, IMO, would look good as it would just continue the pattern that's already present and also cover up the cheap plastic around the infotainment and climate controls.
