Looking for a tune shop for a 2021 GT w/ Roush 2650 near GTA

Hi All,

Looking for a shop that can tune my 2021 GT with the Roush 2650. The Roush tune (specifically the transmission tune) is simply too violent in SPORT/SPORT+ and TRACK mode unless I'm mashing the accelerator and you can't do that in the GTA traffic. When I asked Roush about it they said "Working as intended" since those are intended for the track.

I heard Wengerd is good for the Roush 2650 so looking for a shop that can get that installed reliably!

Yeah they are one of the Roush certified shops but I believe they only do the Roush tune which is the violent shifting I'm experiencing now

You might want to give either DaSilva or Diego's custom tunning a call, They both put the cars on a dyno

Just need to adjust the driver demand pedal characteristics. Its a simple change and you can make the car a monster or a dud. You'd need Roush to do the change in the tune.

Please explain what you mean by this? Sounds a lot like the pedal max thingy.

Driver demand pedal characteristics doesn’t actually change the tune though - at least not timing or transmission. Unless I’m missing something.

May want to check first if Shaun will tune an 18+ with a Roush. So Rt1 doesn’t actually tune the car, just load it and run the dyno ….

It’s changed in the tune and yes it’s like pedal commander. But the factory tune has pedal changes too. I’ll post an example.
