Yea guys speak to Lund regarding the issue, like I said I have ID 1000s and never once have had a long start issue and sometimes I don't start my car for a week at a time. Ken with Lund racing tuned mine. Maybe because mine was tuned in house and he had more time to play with it and drive it compares to some of who are just tuning through data logging.

A cold start demands more fuel, so that usually is A-OK.
(Think of the days when you had a carburetor and a "choke")

It usually happens when the motor still has heat in it, aka after a drive or few hours later. When the motor doesn't need much cranking fuel at all, so thus it tests the limits of the bottom of the injector range, and the ECU's ability to control and injector at a very low ms pulse width.

My car is an automatic, I guess it's happening to both A6 and M82 cars?

I spoke with him this afternoon and he is going to look into it. He was wondering if I might have a small vacuum leak, I checked and I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. And since more people are having this same issue, makes me feel a little better that I'm not the only one. Like I said.. I can live with it like that because the car drives awesome besides that. But it is annoying and a little embarrassing starting up like that.

Guess I should hit him up as well. Squeaky wheel will get some grease if we all complain at the same time.

It's just odd how there are a few different people experiencing the issue and all have different forced induction setups and whatnot. Mine doesn't happen every single time, it's off and on.

Same here, long start now after my ID1000s, JMS BAP, and Lund tune.

Doesn't happen every time.. sometimes it fires right up.. and sometimes it'll go through an entire "start cycle" and won't start. I have to hit the ignition again and it'll finally fire up.

Already reported back to Lund also...

Yup. Mine is still having the issue. Checked and rechecked any possible vacuum leaks and found nothing. This seems to be not just with the JMS unit or specific forced induction setups. Looks like a variety of different setups people are having this issue with. I am on a revised tune from Lund to see if it cleared the issue up and I reported back to him that it's still doing it. I honestly have no idea what's causing it. Like I said mine is intermittent... Sometimes it does it and sometimes it fires right up. But more than usual it has the start up issue.

I had no issues with the P-1SC + 47s + Lund tune before. I installed the BAP first and she fired right up without issues. I then installed the ID1000s and flashed the base ID1000 tune, and that's when it all started.

Very odd... I'm going to keep working with Lund to get this ironed out.
