Long shifters?

I like the look of the old school muscle car long handle shifters like the Hurst. Do they make something like that for the mt82...not as long but a few inches longer than stock. Like the flat stick look. I know Hurst makes something similar but it looks cheap and I've read of some snapping.

You could have some round metal stock (the same diameter as stock shifter shaft), bent to the angle that you like and have it tig welded to the stock shifter shaft. I’m not sure how you would accommodate the reverse lockout collar though.
