I have no idea how they do the rear window. I can barely get in and out of the backseat.

I lived in Babylon.. they always did great work and they were reasonably priced. If its the same owners, they were incredibly knowledgeable about car audio. They didn't just "sell the stuff" .

Looks good. I just wonder if it would look as dark on a darker color like magnetic.

To my knowledge it is the same owners. They did an awesome job on my 2010 GT pretty much perfect.

i have 35% side windows and 25% rear. that's what the tinter suggested based on the fact I have magnetic with black interior and rims. the 35% does look darker with that combination.
I personally wouldnt go darker than 35% on the sides so not to worry about getting ticketed by cops.

I'm getting real anxious with my car...

Sayville Ford found the car I wanted last Thursday. The car was in New Jersey so they'd have to do a dealer swap. Fast forward an entire week and the car is finally at the Sayville dealership today. Honestly I only expected it to take a few days, but it is what it is.

They call me today to tell me the good news, but follow it up with "the finance manager had a death in the family, he won't be back until Monday. Can you wait until then?"

:frusty:

I understand that the guy should have the weekend off, but are they just going to not do any deliveries this weekend or something? Are they shutting down the whole damn dealership because of one person? Do they not have more than one finance person?

C'mmonnnnnnnnn. It's supposed to be a nice weekend and I already have some parts sitting at home waiting to be put on the car

After much whining they claim they can squeeze me in tomorrow at 1pm. Here's to hoping they do it right for once

The team at Sayville Ford have been great - including the finance manager who got me an incredible rate on the loan. They followed all my instructions perfectly from not touching the outside of the car during prep, not installing the front plate and not putting any dealer stickers on the paint. They even called me on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend to deliver the car when it unexpectedly came in early.

All of this while they work out of trailers while the entire showroom is under construction. You'll see when you pick up your car - it's pure controlled chaos but though that they delivered in spades.

I'm sure it will be great when I actually pick it up. I suppose it's just pre-delivery anxiety because of the unrealistic expectations they set for themselves. If they had told me last Thursday that I wouldn't have the car until the following weekend, there would be no problem at all. When they tell you on Thursday that they will get the car right away and that they will have in it only a few days, and then that turns into "well definitely this week" and when that turns into "not until next Monday", things get a little testy.

Once I start the engine and hear the v8 I bet things will be better :ford:
