More exclamation points should get your point across!!!!! Maybe question marks will do the same thing!!!!!

If you had it enabled before swapping, why did you wait until after swapping to say anything about it????? Why do you have no proof other than the procedure that was used to reprogram your EB ABS module to the GT PCM??????

Speaking of not listening, as I have said before anything that IDS can do is possible with FORScan, it just might not beprogrammed in the interface just yet!!!!!

Now that my punctuation frustration is over, if anyone attempts this and finds that it works, verify 100% the steps taken along with the changes to the as-built that are made, and FORScan developers can work on adding the steps required to the program. If it is possible to complete by reprogramming the ABS module, it can be added in the PID control section under ABS.

Oooooo I love keyboard ninjas ..............,,??!!!! :ninja:

Ive explained the procedure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some more punctuation for ya !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe you should check my grammmmer too lol but since you can do all that just go back to the beginning of this thread and read the directions. Stop being cheap and messing with forscan and find someone  who has ids ??????

I said it before, I'll say it again...anything that can be enabled with IDS can be enabled with ForScan. There are plenty of people on the forums here with IDS, and none have chimed in saying it works. There are also tons of people on the ForScan forums who spend a lot of time with both IDS and ForScan, and have been able to find a way to enable the same stuff and then some with ForScan that IDS is capable of.

So...since I have read your "use IDS to enable" worthless directions, why don't you provide proof that you had this enabled before swapping your car. You documented the shit out of a 5.0 swap, yet never made a single mention of having OEM line lock on an EB, nor have any proof of it. Anyone can make a claim in a forum (hey guys, I used IDS to enable the Ford Racing tune for FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!11111), but most can't prove it can be done.

Still patiently waiting...

I do not have a ecoboost here to test it anymore. I do not have proof as my car was swapped 1 week later. Best of luck to you as i no longer will be working on this line lock for ecoboost.

Your continued response on this subject without offering any proof that this is something that can be done continues to prove my point that you don't have any idea what you're talking about.

FWIW, I have attempted to enable line lock with IDS, following the exact directions you stated in this post, along with many different methods using ForScan. All of them failed, including your directions that you claim work. Unlike yourself, I have provided proof of modifications that work, and assisted others in the ForScan thread rather than just making a claim without proof.

So, keep posting after saying you were done, until you post proof of an ecoboost with OEM linelock enabled, you're just posting BS anyway.

What is really crazy to me... is what she typed earlier today in another thread... you can't make this up...

Eco85, just move on... even though you created this thread and a major contributor to this thread.... :D

<snip> If there was a bunch of non-factual information being posted, I might respond with my viewpoint, but that's it.

Either way, one thing is for sure. He did create this thread, he is a major contributor to this thread, and if you don't like that don't read t.

Jtmat, this is the first time i ever f****d up a thread. I want to resolve this line lock and i know it has something to do with the as built data that gets changed or it wont reconfigure. I know what im doing ive been a technition for 15yrs and recently changed professions but still active and my brain still moves like a hamster on cocaine in a wheel. I just dont have an ecoboost to play with and my friend who is a chassis engineer for ford has the ids. So its a matter of getting the two together. So if i get them together i will video the process.

Wait, so creating a thread that says something can be done without providing instructions or proof constitutes being a contributor to the thread? Seriously?

I think I will go create a thread now documenting my Hellcat swap in my S550, it's as easy as connecting to AllData and enabling Hellcat mode! Simple as that.

I never asked the guy to leave the thread, or quit posting as in the other thread, simply asked for proof that it works. I have done EXACTLY as stated, and it did not work at all, nor has any other method that's been attempted.

This thread was created as a sub-thread from his coyote swap thread where someone asked about enabling line lock after the swap while still using the eco ABS controller, then mysteriously he claimed he had line lock enabled BEFORE the swap took place. If you read back far enough in that thread, you will also see that before this thread ever existed, he said he was able to enable line lock AFTER the swap was completed.

So, once again...didn't ask anyone to quit contributing to this thread, just simply asked for proof and more so than "plug in IDS and enable line lock". All of us would love to see this accomplished somehow, and if he was close I would be more than willing to donate my car for a week or so for experimentation,
but that's not the case.

Without line lock you can still make a burnout it's not a big deal. However it'll be nice to have linelock feature like that we won't mess up the rear brakes... My way of doing it (I'm AT). Put in S mode and put the car in 1st gear. Take of the TC press the brake and smash the gas pedal lol.

There are a few other uses for linelock than just doing burnouts (drag strip launches for one). Plus, your way does work, but puts a lot of extra stress on the rear brakes, while line lock does not.

Then youre first statement should of been "hey this isnt working for anyone whats the status " and i would have explained it ! I will never touch youre car , i got someone in the chicago area who pm'd me on this and is willing to share his car if we can all get together. Solodog stop being a keyboard ninja. Take ur own advice " dont read the thread "
Btw: id be willing to bet that u not only dont have the money but lack the intelligence of being capable of swap!
