So I've done a bit of research on the subject but just wanted to gather some final opinions before I make my purchase but is everyone who has to have a front license plate using the STO n SHO license plate bracket? Are there any other options out there?

Craig's Custom Mustang Brackets mounts the plate in the standard position. It uses a 3M automotive tape mounted base with the holder secured by a nut-and-screw post assembly.

I've had one on my 2015 since December, 2014. The design has been improved over time so it is very sturdy.

I've got some photos of it here.

I REALLY want a Craig's Lic plate mount system - based on pics and reviews, it is the best looking mount out there (and no way to knock it off the car if it's too low like other mount systems). However, his site has shown all have been on Backorder for quite some time. I've been checking every day. I also had a post on his site inquiring in early Jan 2016, to which he responded he expected more soon, but that post has disappeared. I then also contacted him via email through his "Contact Us" link asking if any are ready to ship yet - left my name and email and never heard anything (yet).

Anyone know of any updates?? I saw it also says to contact him via phone only during certain times of day due to his Military status - but I don't want to bother him, because he's prob really busy and just thought email would suffice.

Craig if you're out there / PM me! I've been reluctant to install the factory plate mount on the front of my new 16 (don't want to drill bumper cover) - but also don't want to risk the ticket... Hopefully I can get a Craig unit soon!:D

Oh yes, I saw Craig's mount but also saw some people having issues with the mount falling off because of the heat. I'm in south Texas where it reaches 110 degrees consistently in the summer so I don't think this mount would work for me

He has changed out the 3M tape since the initial run. I recommend contacting him directly to express the concern so he can tell you if there have been problems since.

The tape is rated to stick up to 140 deg F.
