I had ordered a JLT CAI, DSS carbon fiber drive shaft, Looks 1 7/8 headers with X pipe and Cat back, and Lund SCT tune. Already received everything except for exhaust. Today I should be receiving the exhaust. Car will be taken to shop on Saturday. A baseline dyno will be done before installing all parts. Was told that car should be ready by Wednesday. I am flying my tuner so that he can do a custom dyno tune. Waiting to see the results!!!

Next step will be forging the engine, forged half shafts, better suspension, and forced induction.

I put the MagnaFlow Catback on #386, the sound is awesome - sounds like a Mustang now.

Ok, got some numbers. Have to start by saying that car was tuned at a Mustang Dyno in Tucson, AZ.

The first thing that the owner of the shop told us was to be prepared to be disappointed since his dyno reads "very low". He says that he does not know why it reads "low" and that even the manufacturer has had staff come out to evaluate the equipment and have no answer for him. He refers that his dyno reads between 30% to 40% lower than what the other dynos in town are reading. My friend, the tuner I flew in to town, looked at the parameters and did not find anything abnormal for the dyno.

So, having given the disclaimer, below you will find the numbers (on parenthesis you will find the theoretical readout with 20% difference so as to be conservative with numbers; will try to schedule a dyno run in the other two dynos in town to compare numbers):

1. Stock: 310 rwhp and 295 lbs-tq (372/354)
2. Lund tune: 333 rwhp and 314 lbs-tq (400/376)
3. Custom tune by my friend: 356 rwhp and 323 lbs-tq (427/388)

Having had various Mustangs in the past, all modified, I can tell you that the car is not a 310rwhp car...
