I'm liking everything I'm seeing/hearing about these. Might have to pull the trigger. I'm a little hesitant because of my Lethal H-pipe. I just don't want it TOO loud, especially on cold start, but I guess that's inevitable. Worst case, I guess I can put the resonator back in to quiet it down...
I just had these installed last week. They are louder than the videos I listened to (those almost sounded like a more aggressive stock exhaust), but it is nothing too loud at all. I was used to the GT500's on my '14 and these are a notch louder. There is a small bit of drone, especially when the car is cold and around 1700-2k RPMs, but most of it seems to go away once the car warms up. All in all, I would recommend them. I installed them the day of the Dream Cruise and got several thumbs up and compliments.

Did you keep the factory resonator?

I have this axleback but with the frp x pipe it droned incredibly loud. Any load on the engine would give me headaches after a 30 minute drive. The muffler shop had to cut off all but one hanger and re weld them. Took them 2 hours to get it right. I later (1 week later) had the muffler shop install a magnaflow res x pipe 11385. Drone mostly gone and rasp completely gone. Sounds good now but can sometimes sound boomy between 1500-1900 rpm.
Still thinkin of going solo axle back sometime in the future.

Yes. With this being a daily driver and weekend road trip car, I did not want a loud set-up. There are certain sweet spots for drone, but with a manual, I can easily get outside of that range. Was really liking the Corsa and Solo cat-backs, but for 25% of the cost, I think I'll leave it on for a while.

I have mine with the stock resonator for about 3-4 months and I still love the sound. I'll definitely keep them until I go FI
