i liek that it keeps the rasp out more than anything else. It may be a little too bottom end boomy for me but def a top 3 contender for me.

I really hate drone. A few of their customer reviews mention drone. Others say none. So its either people not knowing what drone is OR the individual car itself is a variable.

I assume you pay shipping back if you don't keep the exhaust. How can I figure what that would cost in case I'm unlucky and get drone. Or better yet, are there things you can do to adjust the drone out if you get it?

Also, I don't much care but others might. It says 100 day trial. I know some products (some mattresses as an example) require you to use the product for 100 days before you can return it so you can "learn" to love it. LoL Obviously you wouldn't have to keep it on the car but some might not want to wait 100 days to return it.

It drones like crazy with resonator delete. Keep the factory resonator and just do the axle back. Drone is when you drive for 30 minutes and get a headache from it. With res delete its like a wall of sound focused on you. I have this axle back and had to replace frp xpipe with magnaflow red x pipe to make it liveable for dd.

And they do mention that the factory resonantor and cats must be kept to avoid drone issues in order to honor their 100 day satisfaction guarantee.

I wouldn't say removing resonator ALWAYS results in drone. I don't have any with my setup.

Yes, removing stock resonator will make Legato axlebacks drone badly.
I personally have kept the oem resonator and cats, plenty loud for me until I go FI, until then I'm very happy as it is:cheers:

Got an answer from Legato offline and they say there will be no drone if the rest of the exhaust is stock. Since I have no desire to change any of the rest, I'll take the chance. They also said they would pay return shipping if I didn't like it.

i love mine. i dont know what you guys are driving in rpm wise but any exhaust will drone if your in a high gear at low rpm..

now mine are not flush tip wise with the bumper like factory mufflers. mine are out about 2 more inches. and i dont get any drone what so ever .. and i deff know what drone is . my challenger had catless mid pipes, super 40s and full 3 inch piping.on the highway i was deaf to say the least.. city it sounded mean as hell .
but maybe having the tips further out helps . i dunno

Waiting to hear back on some questions since mine is a convertible. If I like what I hear I'm in. They sell a kit just for convertibles which is good.

System with stock res sounds perfect. But unfortunately I've installed an H pipe and thrown my stock res away

And great service for the return policy.

I have SW longtubes with cats and no resonator and am looking for something as close the the previous gen's GT500 muffler sound as I can get.

I had the system with the factory resonator and it did have mild drone. I wouldn't recommend it for people who have long highway commutes or road trips.
