LED Carbon Steering Wheel Question

Hey Everyone,

I bought one of those carbon fiber steering wheels with LED shift lights at the top. Yes I realized after it was drop shipping from China and I had to do alot to make the fitmet not suck on this POS.

Anywho, can anyone help me with the 12v connection? All of the videos show pinning an open hole on the clockspring to pass through 12v from the OBDII connected controller. My car (2021 GT Premium) has a wire in this location. Anyone solve this problem or know what this extra wire is that some cars have and some dont? I don't have a pic of the wire but those that have installed these should know what I'm referring to.

Ok so after much trial and error, many beat up wires, and abusing my multimeter, I found the solution. I’ll get some pictures up and show everyone for whoever is next
