Did you ever figure this out? I have the same problem with mine and it's driving me crazy.
Yeah! Just plug it in the same slot where the tutorials told you. Mine worked

What info is shown on the steering wheel screen and is if useful if the screen is not at the 12:00 position.

So I had the same problem, my solution was splicing them, I used one of the yellow wires to the clock spring and the purple and white wire on the bottom, that’s one of the pass thru connections, and what I’m currently using until a problem occurs....

I clarified the instructions a little and included how to attach the ground wire.

If your Pin 2 is occupied on 2020 is there any that are still open? Do you have a heated steering wheel?

Do you have more pictures of the wiring? I need to do the same. Do you know what the pink wire was used for before you spliced into it.

So i have 2019, heated steering wheel, digital dash. All of the pins are occupied so i had to improvise because nobody has posted here or anywhere not even YouTube video and i came up with this

connect the white wire from the obd into the purple on the clock spring located under the steering wheel.

Connect the red wire from the new steering wheel into the two yellow wires in the main connector on the steering wheel

Now connect the ground wire from the steering wheel into any metal part. I connected it to one of the screws in the steering wheel just make sure it touches any metal Part that is grounded.

you don’t need to connect the blue wire anymore for this method

with this method will be having one problem which is that light of the steering wheel will not turn off unless you unplug the OBD connector, i will Find a solution for this but in the main time I’m happy with the results

The steering wheel will turn on itself when you turn on the car and it will turn off when you turn off your engine
