Most people seem to be leaning towards purchasing the new mustang.

I was as well however up until recently, i'm probably going to get a truck with the wife and split the payment, but i'm considering leasing the new mustang as well if not this year, next model year.

Just curious if anyone has any experiences both good or bad leasing a car in the mustangs price range.

A little info on my usage of the leased mustang:

- I would only be using it on weekends and if I use it during the week it would only be for short trips to the grocery, gas station, etc. No commuting.

- I don't really want to purchase due to my current experience with financing, i don't use my current car very much at all and it feels wasteful to pay a premium car payment for something I use on a limited basis.
- I would keep it garaged during the non-usage times.
- I would have 0 desire to modify the car, which I know is almost impossible to do when leasing. I'd more than likely just trade it back in and lease another car. We have a commuter car thats paid for, so getting around wouldn't be an issue.

You rarely see any good lease deals on a Mustang anymore

First of, if you are looking at a GT model, you might as well forget about it as Ford doesnt have any lease programs on 2014s and probably wont on 15s either.

All you can lease is V6 models and with the current offers, youre better of purchasing the thing. You will end up paying a premium lease payments so why not just pay that same payment and own it?
