LE Quarter window !!!!

Went to dealer yesterday to have an oil change done.

Saw an LE in the service bay. Lady seemedd to have hit the curb And broke the rim. Was admiring the stepped 1/4 window so I went to parts to inquire. Had to pull the vin on that car to get price And correct part.

$1400+ for 2 small pieces of glass? Really?

What about the poor LE owner for some reason needs to replace a glass?

Needless to say, I walked away

They were a custom engineered low run part. Lots of hoopla about them specifically when talking about the special things on the annys. I'm sure their stock of spares is fairly small so they don't want all of us buying them up.

if it makes you feel better on the mazdaspeed 3 that little window section was 800 each so 1600 for the little windows. and it was just a normal window.

Insane. Even as a low run (1964 cars) special item it would expensive if it were $300. I originally wanted one, but now I am so negative I hate them - just because of the price.

1965 actually. One set was given away at the 50th celebration.

That's a bad reason to hate something. Do you hate ford gt's because they are expensive? Do you hate rolexes because of price?
