I hear ya, I was 49 when I ordered, 50 when it was built, and if they take much more time, I'll be 51 when it is delivered. lol
Guess I got lucky. When I first contacted dealer, I was 39. Ordered at 40 and received at 40. It was nearly a year, 11 months, from first contact about a 2015 mustang (December 6th, 2013) to receive (November 7th 2014).

Well, dealer just called to let me know that my LE arrived to Phoenix on Saturday. Now the waiting begins for the car to be delivered to dealer.

I turned 39 the day after Anniversary model was announced. Ordered on 5/20, born on 9/29, still not released. If I make it to 40 without seeing the car, I would say I'm ripping all my Ford stuff down and buying a C7. But, I probably won't be living here anymore to do that as my wife will kick me out! She said it better arrive sooner than later because she can't take me anymore. Apparently this has made me . She's tired of hearing about it.

Questions for others here. Should an LE thread get started for when someone gets their welcome kit? That way we can choose to look or not. I usually watch this thread to see updates on how others have progressed. I'm not sure if I want to or not know what's in the welcome package. I feel like I might want to keep that as a surprise.

Also, maybe a dedicated LE owners thread where we can post pics with our cars when we get them as SVTFreak did here? His could be the first pics since I think there is maybe only one other member who has received theirs.

Thoughts?

I'm going to ask the owners to start us a LE sub section.

Oh believe me, I've thought about putting mine on for a nice markup, then order me a TY gt 401a with 20's and navi and 12 speaker. But 1) yall would kill me and 2) I would regret it forever.

But if someone comes along and offers me 15k over sticker, damn straight it's sold. 5k over, no. With taxes on this one and the one I would order, I would break even. 10k? Ehhh id say probably not. 99k total? I told my girl that if she could find me a buyer at that price, I would buy her a EB and me another gt.

Sure wish we had our own forum for stuff like this!

No more hood prop rod. Very very easy to install. Careful, don't drop the battery box cover pins or the car will try to eat them. Took me longer to find it than the rest of the job.

Is this a easy bolt on mod? No cutting or drilling required?

Lol I know but it brought that to mind.

Yes it's very easy. One 3/4" hole to drill in the battery cover. It comes with a plastic template to perfectly locate the hole. Other than that, it's easy. Take front nut off each hood hinge bolt, installed bracket, put nut back on. Insert bolt and t nut into already punched holes in frame rail. Tighten them.

I do recommend to snap the rod onto the lower call first, compress the shock then snap onto the hood ball as it extends. Backwards from the instructions.

Total time, 15 minutes. 30 with finding the damn insert for the battery box cover clips. Lol
