Yucky. I understand. That's a big yard there. Not sure what the average transfer time is on it. Mine went through a small yard and was 3 days.

The WORST part is........Same dealer as mine - ordered a LE WW 1 week after mine. It arrived on a different train and got to the dealership on Saturday Nov. 15th !!

I think we all need counseling after this....
Couldn't agree more - I've always been one to use RT (River therapy) for my stress. This typically includes fishing, sitting in the peace & quiet, and overdue relaxation.

However, this has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my lifetime thus far :frusty:

I'm really hoping that I'll be changing my therapy soon and will have MT sessions (Mustang therapy); fingers crossed for all of us!
The only difference I can foresee is the fact that it won't be quiet, at least I hope she won't be quiet, I can deal with that kind of noise!!!

I've told Brent and I'll tell yall too. When it arrives, it was so worth the wait. You'll see hopefully soon. It's so much nicer of a car than I expected.

Have zero idea. Maybe they are sending them out 10 a day on the new carriers. They each can carry 10 Mustangs. I'm about 10 days out I figure on what I was told, but if they sent 10 a day in order, she should be here this weekend. It is really strange though, I have only dreamed of this car, never set foot in one(LE), although I did steam the windows pretty bad and probably left nose prints on TT0001. I already paid for it, got the insurance policy yesterday, The plates are ready for pick up at the DMV 2 minutes from my work, just need the odometer statement. I still feel like I'm missing something....oh yeah THE CAR!
Question - You said you'd purchased your insurance already. Did you go through your regular auto insurance company or did you buy specialty insurance? Any thoughts from other LE purchasers? I'm thinking of going with specialty insurance. Looked into Hagerty and while they do have mileage limits, some are as low as $3500/year, and up to 10K miles/year.

I'm keeping my options open because Allstate wants $5000/year for full coverage!
I'm a good driver, zero points, zero accidents and have been with Allstate for 20 years (not to mention they insure our 4 other cars)....Ridiculous! That said, I'd love to hear how others are proceeding with insurance - I'd love to hear any thoughts or ideas that you all have on insurance please !!!

Holy shit! I'm only paying 1500$ per year full coverage at State Farm. That's up 25$ a month from my 11 due to being limited she said.

You are covered when you buy a new car until next business day at least

I have a teenage driver on our policy, and my wife is in the danger zone. The mustang added a big chunk of change to our monthly insurance bill. Even then, it's not $5k.

Marcy;
I think you were asking me. My LE is 316, built the same day as Brent's and being delivered to same part of the country so I thought ours might be shipping together. I purchased mine through a dealer in Sterling VA but I live in MS.

RMCrump,
Thanks, I was asking you ... if you don't mind me asking, why did you purchase in Sterling VA if you live in MS? That's a long drive (we just visited family near Jackson this summer, and if I recall correctly, it was about a 15 hour drive, whew that's a long haul)!

I use Heacock Insurance for my 2003 Cobra and 2011 GTCS and pay about 650.00 a year. Full coverage, flat bed towing and agreed value. If you are a MCA member you also get a discount.

Progressive wanted 2400.00 a year for lesser insurance

Just got a quote today...$1000 for full coverage with a stated value of $55,000 and a $1000 deductible. That was with Haggerty through my insurance agent.
