No, the number he sent has to be a 50th. See P8R? That's the body code for the 50th cars. Only 1964. Gt is different (don't recall but could easily be found). Also, see the 55 after the second f? That's also unique to the 50th cars. All others are f53xxxxx.
that's what had me wondering because i compared the VIN to others and knew the P8R was an LE VIN

#735 had a build date (or maybe week) of today, 11/5. Can anyone give me production information on it? I can't see anything in ETIS or COTUS.

EDIT: found it on ETIS and added it to my garage on ford.com.

dealer gave me the VIN as 1FA6P8AF7F5500735 - i said, i bet it's supposed to be an R like the body code (P8R). sure enough, that worked...
Pushed back to 11/30 though :(

I will probably end up asking my dealer for the rail car number. Hope he does not get mad at me.

The most confusing part is that Pontiac MI is WAY north of the Flat Rock plant. I'm in Texas....and that car needs to come south not north!
Happy day, my Kona Blue baby got on a train today at 4:20 am!
Dealer expects she'll arrive in a week, or so, and has promised me daily updates, and a rail car # tomorrow, once he receives it.
Can't wait for her to arrive & finally come home! [emoji2]

Also, for anyone interested, there's a dealer near Pittsburg that has a white, manual LE in stock, on the lot.
Saw pics. today, AND the beautiful certificate that comes with them (picture of the car, with the staff who built her, and the signature of a few of the Ford executives... nice).
The dealer is asking $56K, fyi...

Im in the same boat (No changes yet. Your Mustang was produced on October 15th but hasn't moved into transit. Once all the extra inspections have been finished, it will ship out)

That's awesome news about the goodies! Just keeps getting better. FYI, mine was finished on 9/29 and still hasn't been released.

Have any of you LE guys considered one of the surprises could be the Aluminum Doors? Maybe just on the Shelby but I think the Pricing on the LE aligns with the possibility.

I guess it's possible but I sincerely doubt it. The LE, although it does have some mechanical upgrades, generally pays homage to the first mustang, which really wasn't anything special, performance wise. So, it kinda makes sense that the anniversary model stays true to that and is a loaded out, top of the line model of the regular mustang (gt).

There is a super slim chance that I'll be getting the call today. My car is in the tracking black hole. Offloaded from rail car yesterday and has a 3 hour truck ride assuming nothing held up loading it. I have all appendages crossed and some hurt!

You should be able to use touch trace and hear every single little town and switch yard it passes through.

Let me warn you. The time between offload and when it arrived at a dealer can be rough. Mine offloaded yesterday sometime before 120 pm. Waiting for arrival at dealer is a hard hard wait. Not knowing if it will be hours, days or what
