I Don't think it needs to be spring loaded TBH. I think given the dimensions and the fact that this will fit ON TOP or over the existing buttons that making it spring loaded would end make it look a bit tacky. I think the manual flip is more realistic.

Get in Flip the top and then hit the start flip it down before you take off. I will probably go for the smooth plastic one and paint it wth hyper red engine enamel. It dries flat comes in a can and its what my brake calipers are painted with on my Acadia.

Prototype not in yet...! It still has to finish production and then get shipped...! We are looking at early next week for when the prototype arrives.

I most definitely would like something like this. Also, the manual flip is appealing to me, 'cause I'd like to show off the "Go Baby Go" decal as well. Cool little things like this really tie a car together and make people love it.

The start cover base has completed production! Still waiting on the cover to finish. I expect either Monday or Tuesday it will ship out!
