Lambo Doors

I hate the flamboyancy of them, but love the functionality. Our doors are a mile long. This is super convenient in the event you park somewhere with narrow space. I get that most of you don't daily drive your s550 but I do and I have even had one or two occurrences having to park mine in a parking garage.

I do think they add one nice benefit: Being able to easily get into your car when you can't open the door because even tho you park way to the side of the parking space line some asshat still has to come and park over the side of the line next to you leaving you barely enough space to open the door.

What this picture tells me is that all those times when you'd actually realize the benefit of scissors doors will be exactly the times when you'll be most at risk of getting a door ding. I'm having a lot of trouble making that sound like a good thing overall.


I have a left knee with maybe 65% range of motion, which might argue for scissors doors. On the other hand, I'm not nearly extroverted enough to want to be associated with anything that flashy.
