If a key is forgotten and you already have it running and drive off without the fob will it stay running? I know it won't restart. Thanks

Yes it will keep running without the key. And if you accidently shut it off without the key it gives you a few seconds to restart again.

I tested this yesterday, I received an alert that the key fob was not in the car after I begun drive. After stopping the engine, the computer prompts you to restart without the key for a few seconds.

Well that sucks... now someone with a range enhancer can fool the car into starting and it will keep running until lojack calls the cops.

So I guess it's best to keep the keys on the other side of the house away from the garage. I like the convenience of being keyless but I don't want it convenient for a thief. I hope there's some sort of built in security like constantly changing codes or something.
