I tapped into fuse number 36, which is the second fuse circuit down from the top right as you look at the fuse box on the passenger side of the cabin. On my GT Premium this circuit has a 15 AMP fuse and it is switched, meaning on/off with the ignition. The owner’s manual labels the circuit “Auxiliary body module”. Not sure what it powers….

I used a “ADD-A-CIRCUIT ATR MICRO2 FUSE-TAP Add ON DUAL CIRCUIT ADAPTER” that I ordered from Amazon. It came with a 5 amp fuse for the additional circuit provided by the adapter.

THANK YOU for this... I just rewired my Radar and added an Escort remote Mute button next to shifter...Fuse 36 worked like a CHAMP! Getting the wire up the "A" Colum without triggering or messing with the airbag...another story...Slowly I weaved!

Is it possible to hardwire a dashcam and a radar detector to the same fuse? I have hardwire kits for my escort and my dash cam and that would certainly help with simplifying the installation (as well as hunting for another key on power source)

Yes...over size the main wire and fuse than branch off that with proper size in-line fuses.

If you want to run something that takes a lot of juice use a relay. The power on switches the relay, the switch in the relay switches power directly from the battery. I am going to use fuse 36 to switch the relay in the engine compartment to switch power to the water pump and front fan for the heat exchanger.

If you are looking for one in the trunk, grab the harness between the deck speakers. Open it up, there's a blue wire. Only on when the ignition is on.

Hey do you mind taking a pic of this wire?
I will try. I may have tucked it all away, but if its not all taped and wrapped, i will.

Looking for always active

I am looking for a key on power source. I have seen the thread about the one in the rear view mirror, but that is a little too far away from what I want to use it for. Is there possibly one in the passenger fuse box or some other source on the lower part of the car?
I'm looking for a fuse that stays hot. Tricky, because some are on delay. Anyone know one in the passenger compartment that is always on?

Anyone find another fuse spot other than #36 that can be used for switched power? I have my V1 already tapped into the #36 slot, need to wire up my Blinder Jammer now.
