For $70 (Buy-it-Now price), I say put the money in the tank or mods. The key stays in your pocket the whole time, not much of a need to wrap it in anything, IMO. But to each their own :)
I actually have been wanting to do something to mine simply because there have been a small handful of times where the buttons are pressed while in my pocket. The design of the key is beyond awful. Nothing more embarrassing than my car wailing in a parking lot because the panic button somehow got depressed in my pocket. :frusty: Having said that, surely there are cheaper alternatives as my last key had a leather cover I bought for $7 on ebay. Was it the best quality? No, but it served its purpose.

I recommend the rubber cases, I bought one for $7 I think? It does not cover the buttons and works great, it has held up nicely for a good 3 months now. I didn't like the how the leather ones worked, again as others have said the buttons could be an issue in one but they look so good!

Welcome to the forum btw!

Is there a way we can lock the doors with beep sound without pressing the key fob lock button?
