Well I decided to upgrade my interior met with upholstery shop and designed my Katskins . I bought a base GT because I didn't want to pay for things I don't like or find useful to me. I am modding my car to my taste. So far I have lowered my car added tires and wheels I chose, and exhaust that I chose, front and rear spoilers that I chose. Saved a lot of money and I get exactly what I want! I'll post pics when I have them installed. Oh upgrading sound as well.

That's pretty much what I've done. I've got a Ruby red base gt and i designed and had red and black katzkin interior put in. Along with many other mods.

It’s smart to do it that way.

I agree, and actually a lot more fun to me than checking boxes on an order form. But i'm a retired mechanic, that's been building hotrods all my life. And modding a new base model is a lot more fun than building something out of old junk.

I've considered doing this. Money has gone other places though (none car related). Maybe some day. Can't wait to see the pics!

Thanks for this thread guys. Been tossing around this idea for a while and was curious how things would look. I really like the two tone pattern.

Hearing that it’s better than OEM is a plus.

What kinda pricing are these setups at? I’m guessing a man could do the install himself? Or is it worth the money to pay a professional?

According to there website anywhere from $1500-$2000. You have to have it installed by a shop they refer you to. They won't just sell it to you for self install.
