I have to wonder why they added that brace with 20" wheels

I have been wondering this as well.

The black brace that is at the strut towers, doesn't seem to be bolted to anything that is structural at the firewall. If that is true than it can't be a "K".

It is bolted up and is very firm. That brace does most if not all of the work.

Perfect!

I ordered that brace that goes under the car and the hardware... the plastic piece (with the access panel to access the filter) is a separate part number, so I ordered that as well.

I'll post pictures when I do the swap and do a write-up in my journal with part numbers in case anybody else wants to do the same.

Thanks! I just hope it meets up with the panel closer to the front of the car. I haven't found a good picture to see, so I guess I'll find out when I get it. :)
