Its a shame they widebody that car yet leave flush face wheels on the back instead of a big lip....
I agree, I like deep dish wheels on these. I found out today that Shelby works with BC Forged, and one other company I can't remember. I will be able to order a wheel that I like, in an offset I want, but still be a Shelby branded wheel. I won't do this right away, I will take the supplied in package wheels, then order a custom set once I regrow a kidney to sell.

Went to a Cars and Coffee event at Shelby American a couple of weeks ago. They had the green GT500 on display, so I snapped a couple of pics, figured I would share.

Thanks for the pictured Doug. Reconfirms that I think I will be asking then to paint the lower edge of the skirt matte black to match the way the car comes from Ford.

Man, that's a good looking car!

Jaime, (@Jmeo) someone...please explain which model this is...just a 500 WB conversion? I don't see the Shelby badging on the fenders but will presume those are Shelby wheels. Inquiring minds would like to know. :-)

The paint looks perfect although with this color, I wish there was a way to make those rocker ends body color. On FPB, the blend in very well but on GL, not so much...IMHO, way too much contrast. If they had to be black plastic, I'd almost rather have the OEM side piece plus the WB guards so it's continuous.

So that car is a GT500 that the owner had a wide body conversion done. He also had them do custom seat covers (the green ones I posted earlier in this thread), a roll cage, and color matching calipers. I am not sure who's wheels they are. Shelby wheels are branded with "Shelby", "American", and "Forged" stamped into them.

The newest addition to my order will be these 5 panel louvered rear quarter windows.

I am torn on quarter window louvers, scoops, etc. I don't quite know if i like them or hate them.....

Interesting, who makes those? They remind me of the 50th anniversary rear windows

I only know they are made with gorilla glass, and they are sold via the Shelby store. They also remind me of the 50th windows, which is why I like them. I’m also after more visual goodies that help give the SE a more individual appearance.

I think they look great, Jaime but I bet they were pricey. :-)
$1,000 for the pair, which is way cheaper than the 50th anniversary quarter windows, IF you can even manage to find a set of them.

These are the wheels that come in the SE package.

Never liked the louver thing, and I'm not even sure I like these in all of the other images... but this picture right here is cool af. The way it plays off the hood vent louvers, bringing the theme into the rest of the car visually. Very interesting.

I have to agree with you on both accounts. I would not apply exterior louvers to my cars, but the glass being louvered is something different. I like it very much.
