I have already 8000+ miles on my v6 2015 stang and I am planning for an oil separator NOW.. Will that be an in time mod now ? or its too late and has the oil already got into the engine ?

Planning to get JLT Oil separator as per good reviews on American Muscle.

Any suggestions ?

Yes, very much worth the $$, I put one in my 2015 V6 stang at 5000 miles and at 7000 I checked to see the amount of oil it trapped and was about 1/3 full. From what I understand it traps the oil at high RPM's.

Awesome ... Just ordered mine from AM. However it is just for passenger side. Will I be required to add an oil separator even on drivers side too ??

No, there's only for the passenger side vent there's no vent on the driver side very easy to install hoses already attached to separator just disconnect the stock hoses from the valve cover and air intake and install the separator. Check it about every 2500 to 3000 miles for oil.:gossip:

I always though there are two vents one for passenger side and other for driver side, As per my research I found out that "passenger side is the one if you only can do one,i.e get the passenger's side oil separator, since most of the oil will come from there". saves some cash $$$ :D

Gurus can correct me on this. I am not an expect :p

The passenger side will collect a majority of the oil, this side is post throttle body and under vacuum frequently.

The driver side is more a fresh air/clean side vent. The only time you'll see any significant draw from there is under extended periods of wide open throttle.
