Hello everyone,
This is my Triple Yellow GT, been in love with mustangs every since I saw a brand new 91 LX hatch on pony wheels when I was a kid. A little about me, I'll spare you the GM stuff, lol. Few cars leading up to this one:
'90 Red GT Vert AOD:
54,000 original miles
Minor external bolt ons
ET: 13.98 @ 100mph
'90 Black GT 5 speed:
Full bolt ons, stock heads, stock cam, stock intake.
ET: 12.99 @ 105.05mph (one thing I am very proud of)
'90 Red LX 5-Speed:
331, TFS Heads, Intake, GFORCE 5 Speed, 125 shot, etc
ET: 10.75 @ 125 mph
[ame]
'12 white GT A6 (my first new car)
K&n panel filter, steeda axle back. JLT catch can
ET: 12.77 @ 111mph
'13 grabber GT a6
K&n panel filter, bobs catch can, roush axle back
Et: never ran it.
I also had a few Camaros and Corvettes in between this .
I really liked the looks of the s550s my wife got a comp orange GT and I really fell in love with it.
I really liked the triple yellow GT PP the dealer she bought from had on their showroom, still being a little Leary of the mt82 from the s197 days I shopped for a TY A6. Needless to say, I work as a parts manager at a GM dealer and our sister Ford store had a TY a6, so after a little negotiation and help from my general manager we struck a deal and I was back in the mustang game again.
The mods came quickly, a JLT catch can, also, I really like exhaust, so, my first mods were:
Super 44 Flowmaster Mufflers and the Lethal Performance bottleneck eliminator X pipe and 4.5" tips.
The drone was a little too much to bear so I quickly switched to Jones Maxflows, they were good, just a little quiet. Finally settled on a '11-'14 Roush axle back I found on eBay for a steal and had my Awesome muffler shop modify it to work.
Added a Green Panel filter, I tried the PMAS cai with no success also. While I was there I added a CoolTech sound tube delete.
Then came the visual mods:
Anchor room corner blackouts, tail lamp side tint, front turn signal tint, rear reflector tint, and push button overlay. I also plasti dipped the front pony, added a upr rear gt emblem. Zombie yellow decimals were also added.
I then decided to paint the calipers to match the car. While I had the wheels off I also added 5/16 spacers to the rear wheels.
Added Boss 302 Valve Covers:
