because you can get v6 bases for 23k otd. unless he is getting it for 23k +taxes, whatever that is in his state. if it is an auto probably about right though.

WHY didnt OP go with an ecoboost? Also, like stated before, a manual? Couldve saved yourself $ and had more fun at the same time. Learning curves are minimal, hell this car almost drives itself.

I tried my damnedest to break it in properly for the first hundred miles... Unfortunately, that 90% of my drive back home was on the interstate for 2 hours. I kept going from 55-65 then from 65-55 back and fourth most of the time because I know you aren't supposed to maintain a high speed for a long time, haha.

Must feel like he's driving a space shuttle compared to the soul. My last daily was a Civic and I have to remind myself that there is a good 3 ft more hood in front of me than before.

You guys read my damn mind-- I'm saying. LOL. I was scared (still am) to drive that thing because it's so damn big compared to my Soul that I had. I didn't mean to, but as I was merging onto Interstate 95 here, I put the pedal down a little bit too far and it kicked into lower gear and made my head hit the back of the seat. I was like, "Calm down, baby. I know you wanna go fast but we have to break you in." LOL!

I am a skinny 6'2 guy and I can still almost barely see over the hood all the way. I adjusted the seat function that pushes you higher (no idea what it's called) and it helped a bit.
