Benefits of waiting are for the longer term owner - it's not worth it for the short term owner, but it may be more difficult to sell to the next potential purchaser as they will only need to buy a Post 1 April 2017 car to get much lower tax ;)

How come you've noted £880, thought the tax price was up £1000 ontop of current reg fee? :shrug:

Unless it's a GT, auto, convertible, custom pack; or GT, manual, convertible, custom pack and fancy paint; in which case you pay the 2k up front plus 440 for the first five years, then 140 per year after that. Simples, not.
