Yesterday evening my dealer posted a picture of a mustang being delivered at there facility.
As I have been waiting for customs to clear my car for the last 20 days, I was hoping mine would be there to. So I went to my dealer this morning and ask about my car.
Like every other day, they told me, 'No news yet buddy'; so I asked them about the picture on Facebook and then someone said, 'yeah, there have been 6 Mustangs delivered last evening, but we don't know yet wich ones, or for who they are'.

I was not gonna leave anymore, before they had checked it, and 'TADA' mine was there, after all.

It had been a very very very frustrating experience until now, especially with a dealer that doesn't care about the car at all.
BUT now, just by finally seeing the car in real life, it makes it all worth while.

Can't wait till they have the car ready. They promised they gonna speed it up a bit.
But they have to put up some mods for me to. So I don't have to do it myself, I don't know sh*t about cars :headbonk:

The only thing they aren't allowed is touch the paintwork of the car. So ABSOLUTELY NO washing of the car.
I wil detail it myself as soon as I drive out of the dealership.
I must say, it looked really dirty, but hey, I'm gonna have it shine like a diamond :hail:

Cheers

Dealer is gonna change the rear decklid to US ecoboost one. Change front lower grille to US one... And a complete led light conversion (interior, trunk, parking lights, DRL fog, backup)

I have no idea yet on when I get her, they promised tot try before the weekend... We'll see, don't believe a lot that they say anymore...

Congrats Nicolas!!!
Permeke Motors I see:). Mine is also from that dealer.
I had an overall good experience with them as far as updates on the car but not for information about the car itself like where to get the windowsticker, which boat the car was on...etc. Had to find that myself on the internet:). But I guess from what I hear is almost with every dealer. That's why we have this forum:thumbsup:.
Anyway, all this can't ruin the feeling of own and drivin' the car!!!
Have fun with it!!!

Thanks fastpony, indeed the same dealer... :-(
I am absolutely not so happy with how it's going... And it has been my dealer for the past 10 years (3 new cars)

Almost no information, refused to give VIN number... They don't know nothing about Mustangs. I had to inform them about a lot of things 'Ow, we didn't know that'.

But hey, can't wait to drive it, never even did a testrun, it will be totally new experience for me...

But already (thanks for to much information on the 6G forum :) ) I'm having some frustrations.

I just went by the dealer to go have a closer look at my car, 'read': go check for all the minor issues, well known on this forum.

And I was a little shocked at how many mine has. :tsk:
Back window alignment, trunk alignment, panel alignment at the back with small chips of paint missing, Interior back seats alignment (like almost 1 cm difference)
I think mine has just got ALL the issues, known here :eyebulge:

As I addressed the issues to them, there answer simply was... :eyebulge::frusty::shrug::doh:

'yeah, it's American you know, nothing we can do about that'

Ok, now I'm really pissed, they can hand me over the keys as fast as possible and never see me again.
(If anybody has a dealer in Belgium who is capable, please let me know, looking for one to do maintainance ;) )
