Something is wrong with the gearbox.
Dealer is furious (@ford) and doesn't want to just fix it... A new car, should not be fixed, he says.
He's demanding that Ford replaces the entire gearbox. Verdict tomorrow afternoon.

Knowing how long it takes to get spare parts in Europe, I'm getting really worried it's gonna be gone for the long run. :thumbdown:

Ouch! The upside of this is that warranty covers all costs, the downside is that you probably have to leave your car in the shop for quite some time :(

They drove already with it to go to the tint shop and they did not notice anything?

For the ones asking for pictures... This is the only (cellphone) picture I got from the car, right after leaving the dealership. But you can see the tint job clearly... Also very happy with the license plate. No OEM holder, just a invisible holder behind the plate

(FYI, the door on the passenger side was not shut, had my daughter with me who didn't close the door properly.)

btw; why 6 hours labor? For what? Just for the deck lid?

License plate holder is a very simple one from auto5...
There has been a thread about it from [MENTION=7100]Ericc B[/MENTION]
Did it the exact same way... cut out two pieces to fit over the two 'dings' so it sits nice and flat.

Decklid, all leds (drl, mist, parking, interior, vanity, glovebox, trunk, backup)
And the front lower grille, which they had trouble with... so they had to remove the entire front bumper...
They showed me a slip of 5,6 working hours...

Finally at the dealer on 22nd Mar 2016.

One day later I could visit the car. I discussed with the dealer how to install the dashcam.

On 31st March I will take it over after 285 days waiting.

Got my car back yesterday evening.
It will get a entirely new gearbox, but it will take a long time till it gets here. (Ford has to order it in the US...

In the meanwhile they tried to fix it a little bit and normally it would not be a problem to drive it around, as long as I don't floor it.
The sound is still there, but I'm happy to have the car with me.
