how bad is it? like is it bad enough to replace motor or just some very minor thing and i can still drive for a few weeks before i take it in for warranty

Looks very minor to me. Probably just a gasket. How many miles on it? That being said I did read a thread on some of the EB cars having an oil leak issue... can't remember the details though. Check the oil frequently and get it looked at asap.

ohh ok it has only 18k km on it so about 11k-12k mile

That seems like quite a bit of oil for that few miles. Definitely get it looked at soon.

That is very common with the Ecoboosts. There have been many people report it in several threads. People have taken it to the dealer and there is a bolt (not sure which one) the just remove, put some thread sealant on and reinsert, problem gone. I had the same issue, took it to the dealer, they cleaned it up and put dye in the oil to see where it was coming from and it never came back.

I had it on my Ecoboost.

I cleaned it with brake clean and it never cAme back.

I know this is sort of an old thread but I took my car to an exhaust guy the other day and he pointed out oil in what I believe is in the same spot as on this picture.

For clarification mine is on the front passenger side of the block (I believe its the block anyway) down towards the bottom. For other location reference mine is pretty close to the blow-off/bypass valve, as he suggested I take off my C&L bypass valve so that I don't run into any warranty issues, though I didn't foresee that being an issue as they are completely independent parts. The exhaust guy highly suggested I take it in to have service look at it, and I have a couple other small warranty issues I've been putting off also (pony puddle light and windshield chip), but I hate having to figure out transportation while my car is at the dealer.

I guess my question is, does anyone know if this is a pressing issue? Also are they really going to bring up the bypass valve to blow-off adapter to warranty? My car has about 12k Miles on it for reference, ~3k ive put on it myself so far.

I have the same issue but have had bad dealings with dealership recently and until I cool off I'll have to deal with it.
