I recently found out that the diff housings for the PP and non-PP 6th gens are different. Has anyone had issues with the aluminum diffs breaking at the drag strip?

Only the auto cars have the alum housing, I'm pretty sure all manual cars have iron diffs

Ahh okay, I'd be getting a manual anyway so that's good news. Thank you.

Yeah I can't imagine cast aluminum would have a problem... I've put cast aluminum valve covers, oil/tranny pans, and they are pretty damn rigid. I wouldn't be concerned.
