Just something I came across that I thought I'd share. You all may already have come across it or seen it in the forum somewhere but it was a revelation to me..

The ford voice control is ok but not great. Anyway I noticed that if you press and HOLD the voice control button it puts you straight through to Siri so for voice calls, asking for certain songs / playlists etc it's way better and quicker than going via ford sync..
I'd assume it does the same for samsungs etc but not sure.

Cool little feature so hopefully helps someone else..

I've got to give that a go if it works with Samsung its going to be awesome! The ford voice control drives me nuts you can get it to feed you in one command but you try to get it to nav to a petrol station takes ages!!

This is where sync 3 will shine. Should work flawlessly. Hope there will be a affordable upgrade in the future

The voice control works pretty well when I am on my own but is terrible when I'm trying to impress a passenger.

Sync 2 voice control works fine when you learn what and how to say it.

I do use the siri feature to read and respond to text messages while driving.

I don't use any phone features in the car, 9 times out of 10 I forget to switch Bluetooth on, on my phone
