Hi and Hello,
Long time motor head, fixing up cars, trucks and motorcycles. This is my first Mustang. I bought it used a couple months ago and I’ve been very happy so far. I would rate my mechanical knowledge and skills above average (not bragging) as I’ve built several engines in my life. And I’ve done a small amount of track time (in other cars).
My new-to-me Mustang is ‘22 ecoboost HPP with the handling package in Eruption Green. I’m having fun getting to know it. The only modifications I’ve made to it are disconnecting the center speaker and swapping out the subwoofer, which made a big difference to me (I formerly did audio production in films).
I do have one question; my car has a gold C stripe on the sides. I’m fairly certain that wasn’t a factory item. I’m guessing it was probably installed at the dealership by the original owner. I’m thinking of removing it since all the other stripes are magnetic gray and nothing on the car is gold. What do you guys think?
