Where would I find new dash trim? I was going to try and take it off and wrap it or paint it, but it feels flimsy and if I break it I want to be sure that I can get a new piece before I totally destroy it.
it is the generic trim that comes on a base gt. I was hoping for the black cf looking trim that I believe is in the V6.

Dealer? Ebay?

Pry up gently on the lower piece first. Watch the videos a few times before you start and you should not have any problems.

To start with the driver side, use your left hand while seated to the vertical piece under the headlight switch. Pull the bottom out and then work your way up to the top. There are 3 clips that hold it.

The headlight trim piece will be exposed and I believe it has one screw and 4 clips.

Same on the right side, the long middle trim doesn't have any screws just a ton of clips.

Slow and steady wins the race!

Just be sure not to break it; that piece is available from Ford but is insanely expensive. The PP dash panel is like $1600.

Nice. Looking forward to seeing the pics. I'm thinking of wrapping mine also.
I have a ton of 3m dinoc left over from my previous car and not too keen on the way the trim currently looks.

Currently thinking of how to wrap some of the chrome tastefully as well to remove the glare in the sun.

I wrapped it and it looked great for about two days. then the wrap started to come up from the vents. the circular shape of the vents is very hard to get wrapped properly. also some of the curves(when it comes up over the MFT screen) started to separate and looked like a giant bubble. :/
I hope that you have a better luck then I, and share some tricks
