I like the look of this dash cover kit, it's metal and goes on with 3M tape, and is painted / clearcoated:

However, after watching several videos from CJ and others, I realize that these dash parts come off quite easily.
I am thinking of spray painting these parts gloss white, but I've never painted a car interior part before. Any suggestions on which paint etc to use?
The eBay seller will paint it other colors, but $330 vs a can of good paint...hmm...
