Same issue happened to my retail special order, got leather Recaro's instead of the ordered cloth. I ordered base Mach 1 just to get the cloth Recaro's which are better suited for track use. Ford's excuse was they ran out of cloth, so someone in production approved installing leather. This has been going on for the last couple of months, and continues today. Changes should not happen to retail special orders unless approved by customer.

That was the same reason I special ordered mine with Cloth Recaros for track use. Crazy too see it's just a 'slap these seats in an move it along' scenario.

You can buy oem cloth covers and replace them.

I'm also amazed that most customers (and dealers), who order the handling package, are not aware the front wheel lip molding is shipped separately to the dealer with the vehicle's vin# on the box. Not sure why Ford doesn't ship it with the car like the front spoiler extension and gurney flap?

Agreed on that. I got my Mach 1 and the wheel lips were at the dealer an had been since May lol. But the previous HP car they got the lips never showed up and the dealer had to order another set for the owner. They come from a separate company out of California, they're not made by Ford. Don't even have a true Ford Part number, just locked to the Mach 1 HP vin.

Just a heads up, there is a ford part number for the front fender molding

They are made by Air Design USA LLC in Southern California
